Hello!!! This is about world events and town events in 1980!!! Our first is the Eradication of Smallpox! Smallpox was a disease plaguing the people of the times. The disease causes severe organ faliure. So kinda like how elders die. Smallposx existed for over 10000 years long, originating in Africa. It was do deadly it could bring down enrire empires, whole nations! Sir Jeffery Amherst wanted to use smallpox to kill indigenous people, like the racist brat he was. Throughout 1740-1790, Edward Jenner studied smallpox, researching 'cowpox', and eventually making the first vaccine, which, got its name from Latin for 'cow'.
